Calton Hill is a prominent public park and historic landmark located in central Edinburgh, Scotland, just east of Princes Street. It features sweeping panoramic views of the city skyline, iconic neoclassical monuments like the National Monument (an unfinished tribute modeled after the Parthenon in Athens), Nelson Monument (a tall, telescope-shaped tower honoring Admiral Horatio Nelson), the Dugald Stewart Monument, and the City Observatory (a historic astronomical site that now functions as a contemporary art center). Calton Hill sits within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The image is composed of 106 individual photos stitched together and captured using a Canon EOS 5D MKII, Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens and Clauss RODEON piXpert. Photo by Ashley Drody.
