The Hollywood Sign on Mount Lee is a 2.8 billion pixel image, 146° view of the Hollywood Hills area of the Santa Monica Mountains in Los Angeles, California from the southwest side of Griffith Observatory. The image was captured on July 20, 2014 and is composed of 290 individual photos stitched together. The final hi-res file is 113,689 X 24,755 pixels or 2,814 megapixels.
